In general, the more layers of plywood backing and the less of plywood mix, the higher hardwood floor stability and moisture resistance. Engineered Wood Cutting Method DonCastle uses only solid sawn cut method to produce every engineered hardwood top layer. Sawn cut top layer keep the natural grain pattern and rich wood appearance just like solid wood floors.
